Minecraft is a sandbox-style game based around the form of block looking objects. The blocks represent different things in the world such as trees, grass, stone, sand, the list just goes on. It may look quite basic and outdated at first glance, but give it a chance and you will be amazed what it can do. The simplicity of it is what allows you to build and create whatever you would like. It can be played single player or on one of the hundreds of privately run servers. You start off in a randomly built world and are soon crafting tools and constructing buildings from your own imagination. The possibilities are endless! It was created by Notch and released over 1 year ago. There are now literally millions playing around the world; so you've probably already heard of it somewhere.
